Original Score Given that this is usually a tough category to predict my 4/5 score is mighty pleasing. And I actually like most of these scores -even the John Williams one. And that's rare. I missed Road to Perdition in favor of what I thought might be a surprise, Rachel Portman's Nicholas Nickleby. |

Original
Song
I scored 4/5 here. Not bad. I picked the boring Spider-Man hit anthem "Hero" and what we got was the boring ballad from Frida "Burn It Blue". I'm thrilled that Chicago's one new song was nominated but I'm a little surprised since the Oscars usually snub Kander & Ebb having passed them over for legendary original songs like "New York New York" and "Money Money Money" |

I got 4/5 here. I went with the Cinema Audio society's nominees. But Gangs of New York tripped up Catch Me if You Can for the nomination. |

I scored 2/3 here, choosing Spider-Man rather than the Tom Hanks mob drama, Road to Perdition (which did really well with the guilds.) |
