Ray |
The
Saddest Music in the World |
"Night
and Day" beautiful scene between Cole and
a frustrated actor. Plus the song is inarguably divine. |
"All
I Ask of You" the only number that justifies
getting stuck in your head. A pretty moment without extra
fuss. |
"Hit
the Road Jack" played the way musical scenes
are in non-musicals but I'm loving it. Regina rocks in this
scene. |
"Georgia
on my mind" Ray brings the house down. This
film benefits considerably from his awesome music. |
A
supremely silly if overlong movie. Lots of great tiny things
but my favorite number is the one w/ Maria deMedeiros |
| Finalists: "Anything Goes" -De-Lovely * Semi-Finalists: "The Point of No Return" or "Masquerade" -Phantom so far beyond cheesy and with such bizarre dancing choices that you just have to scream 'uncle' and go with it! * "Everybody's Got AIDS" -Team America early in the movie before you get sick of the outrageousness * "De-Lovely" -De-Lovely I ♥ Robbie Williams sometimes * And just about any number, truthfully, from Ray. I need to get that soundtrack. | ||||

"Moon
River" Ignacio is pure of voice but Father Manolo
is not innocent of intent |
"Let
me sing you a waltz..." You don't have to ask us
twice Celine. Swoon. |
"Jingle
Bell Rock" Cady saves the day when lipsynching fails.
Funny. |
"Chippi Chippi" -a great moment that springs
from Rodrigo's exuberance |
He's
been 'practicing some dance moves' and puts them to use in
the finale. Sweet. |
Finalists:
House of Flying Daggers -Mei's
song with drunken accompaniment from Jin * Semi-Finalists:
Any of the Bowie in Portugese moments from The Life Aquatic
---but which one? *Harry Potter "Something Wicked
This Way Comes" rehearsal * Bad Education -Zahara
performs * |
