Waving on the subway platform and her extroverted intro on the train.
Arriving in Dogville, clearly frightened and alone. An illustration for Tom?
Her first meeting with Hughes: A jolt of electricity for him and the film
Easily one of the funniest characters of the year --the best moment in the film.

Lemony Snicket: A Series of Unfortunate Events
Spider-Man 2
(Opening)
That great Bernard Hermann homage - score with torn screens. So lurid.
(Opening & Closing) Most unsettling titles since the often ripped off Se7en. Terrific editing.
(Opening)
The makeup application. Today's politics...theater of the absurd.
(Opening and Closing)
"The Little Elf"

Hee. Visually a "wow"

'Last time on Spider-Man'; a clever retelling in comic imagery.

The beautiful jogging tracking shot. That genius musical score setting the tone.
"The Blower's Daughter" the leads meet in slow-motion, amidst undulating humanity.
Prologue: In which we meet Dogville's inhabitants and the brilliant empty set design.
The "Super" interviews in a simpler time. Great clever comic stuff with actual ideas.
Pizza delivery as first action setpiece. Cute joke & perfectly Peter Parker-esque in its crisis mundane.

Observant film builds to big impact in its goodbye
