Like all true wussy hopeful-Oscar-predictive groups they allow themselves
extra nominess so that their predictive rate is automatically stronger.
The only place they ever get brave and interesting is in categories that Oscar
doesn't have or that they can't influence. (like Ensemble or Comedy Film)

Despite them labelling themselves a "Critics" groups they routinely favor mixed-response
Oscar bait films (like Memoirs) in favor of highly lauded critics darlings like
A History of Violence
or Squid and the Whale.
