OSCAR SYMPOSIUM
with your host Nathaniel R and his very special guests

February 14th, 2006
Welcome to the 1st Oscar Symposium held here at The Film Experience. We're here to amuse you whilst making peace with our feelings about this year's race; what it means and doesn't mean, its cultural detresis. And so on...

I've asked esteemed colleagues to join me --a few friends, a couple of strangers. They all have sites worth visiting. Starting tomorrow we'll be discussing that coveted naked gold man. This first (?) edition is dedicated to Slate's "Movie Club" and Mixed Reviews "Critics Over Coffee" both of which inspired me to delve into collaborative waters. I've barely stuck one toe in but it feels delicious.
