It's time for the 4th Annual Oscar Symposium. If you missed previous years or can't get enough of rehashing / debating old Oscar races check out 2007, 2006 and 2005. But now on with the new... which is to say, the old. The films of 2008 and what Oscar thought of them. And subsequently, what we think of Oscar. Round and round it goes.

Every year we shake up the roster of participants to keep things unpredictable and this year we accidentally shook harder. No repeat guests from last year are back though Ed Gonzalez of Slant fame was on the first panel in 2005. The rest of our guests: Timothy Brayton, Karina Longworth, Erik Lundegaard and Kris Tapley are new to the Oscar Symposium but presumably their names aren't new to you. If by some miracle you're unfamiliar with their fine work, you can fix that. Check out their work at the links provided. You won't be sorry.
